My Uncle Mike underwent reconstructive surgery today from where he lost his stomach to esophageal cancer, and is at the Cleveland Clinic…. the surgery (an 8+ hour) to reconstruct a stomach for him so he may be taken off of a feeding tube was a SUCCESS!

Here he is, waiting to go back for surgery this morning:

I think that the good news we’ve received more than qualifies as a reason to take the night off from the blog.
