A g\u00e9noise cake, meaning one that has no leavening agents in it other than firmly beaten eggwhites. I made it for dad for his birthday in 2008. He liked it so much that I wasn&#8217;t allowed to take it back home with me!<\/p>\n<p>Same goes for what I made him for father&#8217;s day that year: <em>Strawberry Mousse Chocolat.<\/em> Now this does NOT look like a massacre&#8230; it looks like&#8230; heaven.
