Interlude…

By Silver Blue

….a photo of Roxette Bunny™ and Forester Bear together, before Hurricane Isabel in 2003:

Roxette Bunny™ and Forester Bear on their way home from New Orleans (at the Cincinnati Airport):

At the food court.

Waiting for the plane to arrive….

Flying Delta to get back home.

You know it’s so good to be back home again.

Silver Blue, who reminds you that your family is who you make it to be. Even if it’s plush animals.

A visit from Cat Man Deux

By Silver Blue

Cat Man Deux sits watching over Meditation Corner at the Shenandoah Forester. I encountered him in New Orleans in 2003, adopted him, and brought him home.

He was the closest that I could find to a Silver and Blue Harlequin.

Here he is in front of the “Living Proof Farewell Tour” programme:

He makes sure that nothing bothers me when I am deep in meditation. 🙂

Silver Blue, who sees lightning out the window and wants to get this posted before we possibly lose power and/or internet….

Just a couple days late…

But…

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!

From my trip to New Orleans in 2003:

The Jackson Brewery, just before a massive thunderstorm.

I loved the saturation of colours and tones in this photo:

It has not been manipulated in any way other than to size down for placing on the web.

This photo also appears in my photo biography. Its a busy photo, but other than the tourists in the bottom right corner, I can’t think of anything I could have removed in order to simplify the picture.

Long ago, and oh so far away…

By Silver Blue

The year was 2003. The location: Jackson Brewery, New Orleans, LA.

One of the most artistically pleasing photos I’ve taken.

Everything about this photo works for me. The sculpture, the architecture, the colours, the impending storm. Of course, this was pre-Hurricane Katrina. But even then…

Sure, I could have edited out the street post, but there is something about the juxtaposition of it, in the middle of the photo that … well, take from it what you will.

Silver Blue, who thinks that sometimes I think too much.
