Returning to looking to live through the Eyes of Silver Blue

Gentle readers, I’ve often said… Experience the world through the Eyes of Silver Blue…Come See Life! Now, it’s time. It’s time for me to pick back up the mantle of The Wannabe Gourmet ( http://www.thewannabegourmet.com ) and to revitalize my Eyes of Silver Blue blogs. While my Ramblings blog will remain permanently closed, I think it to be beneficial for me to share my life through food and photography.
Music continues to be a large part of my life and existence… so… I’ll also be bringing back Life is a Song… ( http://www.music.thesilverblue.com/ ) as well.
Happy Holidays to those who may remember me… or who may be wanting to take a glimpse of life…. Through The Eyes of Silver Blue.

No snow during the holidays, but enough post. Still, I think the way the house was done up for the season would have made for a beautiful shot, if snow covered.

Silver Blue, who was once told “never lose the joy you get from snowfall; it’s like Christmas through the eyes of a child.” Somehow, no matter how jaded I get, that joy never leaves me.

Remember: Sing like no one is listening, Dance like no one is watching, and Love as if you’ve never been hurt. Your “heaven” is what you make it to be.
When I realized that this was only the 6th OpSail since 1964, I realized that I was part of something very special. There’s no guarantee I’ll be around for the next one — in body, or in locale.
Life is short. Take the chance. Follow your passion.
Do what makes YOU happy.
Others may try to stand in your way, to tell you that you can’t, or you shouldn’t, or that you mustn’t. But why? If it’s not hurting anyone else, then why not have a go at whatever it is? Colour your hair. Eat that cake. Run that marathon. Be what YOU want to be. Never look back on your life and wonder what might have been…your time could be up at any moment. A moment spent happy is NEVER a moment wasted.
